I can’t even believe we move into our house in a week! The past 6 months have been super stressful and exciting all at the same time! It’s been a long road of demoing, repairing, and rebuilding. But we are FINALLY to the point where our house is becoming a home, and it’s absolutely perfect!
Last week, Stewart spent some long days at the house getting the floors put in. We did a mixture of 7 inch and 9 inch wide yellow pine floors. They look absolutely beautiful! HERE is my YouTube video about installing our floors!
Then, by Wednesday night, I was able to start staining! Check out my YouTube video HERE on the staining process!
Two days and a back massage later, here is the finished product!! Breathtaking RIGHT!?
I used a ratio of 1.5 parts oak, to 1 part english chestnut, to 1/2 part red mahogany. I linked to everything I used below! I also linked to my table and chairs because I’ve had a lot of questions about them!
Golden Oak Stain | Red Mahogany Stain
| English Chestnut Stain
| Lambswool Applicator
| Polyurethane
