Whole House Makeover

This year, I received a call from a couple that moved to Charleston from TX. They sold their dream home and their goal was to recreate their old house here in Charleston! It was a whole house makeover and it is one of the most impressive transformations I’ve been a part of!

Homes built in the early 2000s all have the same look… Brazilian cherry floors, beige and red paint, and outdated. There’s not a surface in this house we didn’t touch. I’ve linked to colors, fixtures, and finishes below each set of photos! Let me show you the transformation!

The Entrance:

We added tongue and groove pine to the ceilings, painted, and added some lighting.

The Kitchen:

This was a biggy. We changed the configuration, built custom cabinets, created a scullery to the left and a pantry to the right. It’s a cook’s kitchen with only the finest finishes!

Countertops: Soapstone | Island: Quartzite | Island Pendants | Faucet | Cabinet Color

The Scullery:

Probable one of my favorite transformations! We enclosed the space, drenched the room in Retreat by Sherwin Williams, and created a mini kitchen. In here we have a mini Miele dishwasher, small prep sink, and wall oven/microwave. Custom shelves with pantry make this the perfect overflow for all kitchen needs!

Primary Suite:

This was another beautiful transformation! We gutted it and reframed the shower to have an arch. We replace the tub with free standing and vanity with custom cabinetry and tower. All finishes are polished chrome which look absolutely breathtaking!

Shower Head | Shower Handheld | Tub Filler | Accessories | Vanity Faucets

Shower Wall Tile | Shower Floor Tile | Bathroom Floor Tile

We had a blast with this one! Not a surface went untouched. It completely changed the whole feel of the house. Photos don’t even do it justice. It’s so unique and absolutely gorgeous! Another full house in the books!

XOXO,

Em
