A Bathroom That Makes You Smile!
When it comes to home renovations, bathrooms often get left behind—tucked away in safe whites, grays, and beige. But what if your bathroom could be a celebration of color, whimsy, and personality? That’s exactly what we set out to do in our latest renovation project: transform a dull, outdated bathroom into a bright, joyful retreat that makes you smile every time you step inside.
The Vision: Bold Yet Clean
This client has a very Scandinavian vibe. However, she has touches of fun and color throughout. But not too much! From the start, we knew this bathroom wouldn’t be a typical spa-inspired space. It’s for two boys, so we leaned into bold hues, unique touches, and playful accessories to create a room that felt like a burst of creativity. The inspiration? A blend of retro charm, natural woods, and bright color.
The Star of the Show!
Hands down, the Green Cement and White Terrazzo were absolutely the stars! The green walls take your breath away when you walk into the space. And the white is the perfect compliment without overpowering! It turned the walls into an art piece and gave the whole room a signature look.
The Finishing Touches
We added a natural wood vanity from West Elm (found HERE) that created a clean and modern look without overpowering the room. An adorable light (found HERE) that matches the tile to perfection, simple matte black fixtures add a solid contrast to the vanity and tile.
The Result: A Bathroom That Makes You Smile
This renovation proved that bathrooms don’t have to be bland to feel clean and refreshed. By embracing color and creativity, we turned a forgettable space into one of the most joyful rooms in the house—a daily reminder that home design should be fun, expressive, and totally you.
